1.1. Which part of your country do you want to live in?
Sample 1: If I could choose, I’d definitely want to reside somewhere on the coast, but it also has to be near a major city. I think Da Nang city fits the bill. It has phenomenal beaches while being one of the most developed cities in Vietnam.

Sample 2: If I had to pick a place to live in Vietnam, my choice would undoubtedly be Hue, a city located in central Vietnam. My preference for Hue stems from its rich historical sites, vibrant street food scene, lush greenery, expansive boulevards, delightful dessert shops along the esplanade, and the genuinely wonderful people I encountered there.
Unlike the bustling cities of HCMC or Hanoi, Hue offers a more serene environment, providing ample space for everyone, whether you’re driving, cycling, or simply taking a leisurely stroll. The lesser hustle and bustle mean less concern about traffic, avoiding the jostling of crowds, and experiencing less pressure to engage in constant conversation or wear a perpetual smile.
1.2. What makes you feel proud of your country?
Sample 1: We have a unique cuisine with excellent dishes. I know that Pho and Banh Mi have become mainstream. But trust me, we have scores of other dishes that are just as delicious if not more.

Sample 2: There are numerous reasons why I take immense pride in being Vietnamese. To begin with, my love for Vietnam stems primarily from its culinary delights. Vietnamese cuisine is unparalleled dishes like Pho, Bun Cha, Banh Cuon, among others, not only taste incredible but are also remarkably healthy and affordable. Additionally, Vietnam boasts breathtaking landscapes and scenic spots.
For instance, despite being the capital city characterized by a bustling urban lifestyle, Hanoi offers serene and picturesque locations tucked away in various corners, such as The Old Quarters, Hoan Kiem Lake, Lang Bac, and more.

1.3. Do you know the history of your country well?
Sample 1: It depends on the period. It is said that we have 4000 years of history so it is difficult to know all the eras well. My hometown is Hue and it used to be the capital of the Nguyen dynasty, the last monarchy of my country, so when it comes to history, I tend to read more and know more about the Nguyen dynasty and the late 18th century.

Sample 2: While I possess some general knowledge about my country, I wouldn’t claim to be highly informed to be considered an expert. Vietnam’s history is predominantly associated with conflicts and wars.
Throughout our past, Vietnam faced significant struggles such as defending our borders against China, striving for independence against French colonization, and ultimately securing complete autonomy by overcoming challenges posed by the United States to achieve genuine independence for the entire nation.
1.4. Will you stay in your country in the future?
This is a very unusual question. Of course, I’m gonna stay in my country. However, I’m looking forward to visiting other countries as a tourist as well. I want to broaden my knowledge of other cultures.
